- Build effective study habits that last beyond the bootcamp week
- Identify and close knowledge gaps through diagnostic assessments
- Develop examination confidence through daily timed practice
Teaching Methodology
Each day covers all three subjects in 90-minute focused blocks. The rotation keeps the day varied and engaging while ensuring comprehensive coverage. Subject blocks are connected through cross-disciplinary themes where relevant.
Day 1 begins with a diagnostic assessment that identifies each student's specific strengths and weaknesses. The remaining days are personalised — students spend more time on their weak areas while maintaining their strengths.
Beyond subject content, students learn how to study effectively: time management, note-taking techniques, revision strategies, and examination mindset. These meta-skills benefit students across all subjects long after the bootcamp ends.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much content can realistically be covered in 5 days?
The NY Bootcamp is designed for intensive, targeted intervention rather than comprehensive syllabus coverage. Through diagnostic assessment, we identify each student's highest-impact areas for improvement and focus there. Students typically cover 1–2 terms' worth of key concepts across all three subjects, with the emphasis on depth of understanding rather than breadth of coverage.
What does a typical day look like?
A typical day runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM with breaks: 9:00–10:30 English block, 10:45–12:15 Mathematics block, 12:15–1:00 lunch, 1:00–2:30 Science block, 2:45–4:00 integrated practice/competition. Each block includes instruction, guided practice, and a mini-assessment. The variety keeps students engaged throughout the day.
Exam Tips
- 1Create a simple revision schedule before any major exam — allocate more time to weaker subjects and topics
- 2Use active recall techniques: test yourself rather than just re-reading notes
- 3Take short breaks between subjects when studying at home — it helps your brain process and consolidate information
