Philemon pig is back!
Our long term, loyal customers may remember we used to make a lovely soft toy pig called Philemon. Part of our Grand Family range of toys, he was sadly discontinued about five years ago or so. (Every year we introduce a couple of new creatures to the Grand Family, and the down side of this is that we have to discontinue one or two too to stop the range becoming too unwieldy.)
Anyway, we are delighted to announce that due to popular demand Philemon has been resurrected and you can see him here. He is wearing a brand new outfit, but has the same soft 'pig pink' fur which everybody loved.

Most loved Lila mice in the world...?
Thank you so much to Clare and Kate for writing to tell us about their collection of Lila mice - a little bunch of mice that are literally loved to bits! Clare writes:
"We thought you might 'enjoy' seeing a much loved Lila. We have repaired one of them with a new cover, she's not in these photo's as she is busy with Kate - her owner at the moment! We still have one in perfect condition, this is because, as Kate put it "her 'bum' does not have the right beans in it and she doesn't pat properly". Kate likes to suck her thumb while patting Lila and the beans have to be just right! Thank you from Kate for making Lila."

Competition winner annouced!
Congratulations to Erin and Libby Harris who have won the competition to create a winter-themed image featuring a Moulin Roty toy.
We loved this photograph of Sylvain rabbit and Nini mouse dressed up in a snowy scene. Not only does it show real effort and creativity but it also came with a little editorial about how the two girls spent an entire afternoon dressing up their toys and staging the photograph. (In fact, the photo shoot ran into a second day because emotions ran so high on the first day that squabbling broke out and photography had to be abandoned. Clearly Erin and Libby have passionate creative temperaments!)

Meet Aime and Celeste
We are delighted to announce the arrival of a brand new range to the Moulin Roty family. Aime and Celeste is a quintessentially French collection is cool navy and lavender colours. Pretty and refined - it is classic Moulin Roty!
Included in the collection is a boy and girl rag doll, their rabbit, mouse and dog and a whole host of associated musical and nursery accessories.
All the new products will be appearing on the website in the next few days so keep your eyes peeled...

We currently have not one but two competitions up and running on our Fun page at the moment.
The first competition, something quick and easy, simply involves identifying a certain pink mouse - get the right answer and you will be in with a chance of winning £10 worth of Moulin Roty toys.
Or for those of you who'd like a bit more of a challenge we also have a competition to create a Moulin Roty picture. Your picture can be a photo, drawing, painting, print, collage, or any medium at all - all we ask is that it feature a Moulin Roty toy, and that it is on a seasonal Autumn / Winter theme. This competition will run right over Christmas so you have plenty of time to get our your crayons or camera. And the prize is £50 worth of Moulin Roty toys, so well worth having a go. Once Upon A Time...
"Once upon a time, there lived four beautiful soft toys called Charles the Wolf, Alice's Rabbit, Puss in Boots, and Princess Anne..." And so began the story of Moulin Roty's new Autumn collection.
"Il Etait une Fois" or "Once upon a Time" is a range of fairy tale inspired characters including four soft toys, five hand puppets and a stunning full height wooden theater.
The four key characters are: Alice's Rabbit, Puss in Boots, Charles the Wolf and Princess Anne. With the exception of Alice's Rabbit - who can of course be followed down the rabbit hole into Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" - the characters are all to be found in fairy tales written by Charles Perrault, the seventeenth century French author who created the fairy tale genre as we know it today. His most famous tales include Little Red Riding Hood, Puss in Boots, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella - and we can find plenty of princesses, wolves and certainly a cat who wears boots in the pages of these stories.
