Moulin Roty Competition - the results!
We recently ran a competition to create a winter-themed photograph or drawing featuring your favourite Moulin Roty animals and here is our winning entry from Erin and Libby Harris.
We loved this photograph of Sylvain rabbit and Nini mouse dressed up in a snowy scene because not only does it show real effort and creativity but it also came with a little editorial about how the two girls spent an entire afternoon dressing up their toys and staging the photograph. (In fact, the photo shoot ran into a second day because emotions ran so high on the first day that squabbling broke out and photography had to be abandoned. Clearly Erin and Libby have passionate creative temperaments!)
A close runner up included this lovely shot from Merran Gunn showing Monsieur Alexandre and Les Loustics big elephant having "a bleether in the heather" on a frosty winter morning. Merran explained that they have wrapped up warm because they live in the Scottish Highlands! We love their cosy outfits - especially the little boots!
And we also loved this shot from Co Bouw in the Netherlands, no story with this one, but it is such an atmospheric photograph that it doesn't really need one.
